Academic Year Online Booking Terms and Conditions

• An on-line application for accommodation must be followed up by paying a booking/security deposit of €300 via our on line payments system or the application will be considered invalid. Preference is given to current residents and past residents after which applications are processed on a strictly "first come, first served" basis.
• Each on-line booking will be "approved". This is not a confirmed booking, rather it is an acknowledgement that an application has been made. A final confirmation will be issued when the deposit is received. Final confirmation of the booking will be issued by electronic mail.
• Please note that this is an application for accommodation and not a contractual agreement. Victoria Mills Student Accommodation acting through its management reserves the right to decline an application.
• Applications are accepted for the entire occupancy period Monday 3rd September 2012 to Friday 31st May 2013 ONLY (WE DO NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR SINGLE TERMS).
• Should a tenant vacate the room before the termination date, rent will only be refunded if the room is re-let.
• Any student who takes up residence and for whatever reason subsequently vacates their room will not be refunded their deposit. The balance of their rent will be refunded as soon as the room is re-let to another student. In the event that the room is not re-let then the rent is not refunded.
• All choices here are preferences, they are not guarantees. We will endeavor to provide you with your preference however this may not always be possible, i.e. we do not guarantee who your room mates will be, we do not guarantee that you will get an en-suite.

Cancellation/Confirmation

First Year Students - In the event of cancellation on or before the 29th August 2012, €200 of the booking deposit is refundable. There will be no booking deposit refund for cancellation after 29th August 2012.

All Other Students – In the event of cancellation on or before the 15th August 2012, €200 of the booking deposit is refundable. There will be no booking deposit refund for cancellation after 15th August 2012. 

Full lease details will be available to the students once they receive a place with us and have been allocated a room (Late August 2012).
